19-year-old forward Abu Kamara has arrived at Fratton Park on a season-long loan deal from Championship outfit Norwich City.
Kamara, who will wear the number 25 shirt during the Blues' 2023/24 campaign, made his senior debut for Norwich towards the latter stage of last season.
He joined the Canaries at the age of 10 and successfully made it through the academy at Carrow Road, putting pen-to-paper on his first professional deal in January 2021.
The teenager will already be on the good books of those supporting the Blues as at the start of last season, he bagged a hattrick in a 3-0 win away at Southampton in the Premier League 2, the development division for high-level academies in English football.
John Mousinho echoed his thoughts to club media representatives: "Abu is an exciting young prospect, who can play across the front line.
"He's got a really good goalscoring record for Norwich's development side and has also made some appearances for their first team.
"Now he comes here and will be competing for a place at League One level. We're absolutely thrilled to have him.
"The challenge for himself is to prove himself and brake into our side - this can be a springboard for the rest of his career."
In signing, Abu Kamara becomes Mousinho's 11th summer signing and the first of which to arrive on a loan deal.
