League Two outfit Colchester United have today opted to end the winger's loan spell.
The 25-year-old made just 6 league appearances for Danny Cowley's side since the start of the campaign and featured twice in the EFL Trophy too, scoring 1 goal in that competition.
Scully suffered an ankle injury setback in November which led to surgery - He has been out of action since.
It is yet to be confirmed whether or not Scully will remain at Portsmouth and part of John Mousinho's plans going forward, however he is out of contract at the end of the season.
Since signing for the Blues from Wigan Athletic in June 2023, the Irishman has featured in just 6 league fixtures and has not been able to record a run of consistent first team appearances.
