The Blues have been drawn away to Ipswich Town in the First Round of The FA Cup, with the tie set to take place on the weekend commencing Friday the 6th of November.
Fellow League One outfit Ipswich Town will stand in the way of Portsmouth and a place in Round Two of this season's FA Cup.
The two teams will commence battle at Portman Road on Saturday the 7th of November, unless the match is picked up for television broadcast.
The last time the Blues came up against the Tractor Boys was on December the 21st, 2019, with Kenny Jackett's side claiming a 1-0 victory at Fratton Park.
Last term, Pompey made it all the way through to the 5th Round, beating Harrogate Town, Altrincham, Fleetwood Town and Barnsley along the way, before falling short at home to Premier League side and eventual winners Arsenal.
As always, the match will be available to listen to right here on 93.7 Express FM, with full build-up from Liam Howes, Jake Smith and Ryan Stillwell and live, kick-by-kick commentary via our colleagues Andy Moon and Guy Whittingham.
