Blues midfielder Tom Lowery has today joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.
Lowery originally signed for Pompey from Crewe in the summer of 2022 after spending over 15 years with The Railwaymen, whose academy he graduated from in 2016.
The now-27-year-old, who was part of Crewe's League Two promotion-winning squad of 2020, has become Lee Bell's 2nd January signing.
During his 1st stint with the club, Lowery made 206 senior appearances. He was also named their Player of the Season for 2021/22.
For Portsmouth, he registered just 26 competitive appearances and was this season left out of John Mousinho's 25-man Championship squad. Unfortunately for Lowery, his time on the South Coast has been plagued with injury.
