Portsmouth FC have today revealed that six out of contract players will depart this summer, with the remaining five in talks to remain at Fratton Park.
Following the end of the Blues' season on Sunday, attention quickly turned to the eleven players yet to sign on for 2021/22. Six have today been released, whilst the remaining five have all been approached to extend their deals.
Duncan Turnbull, Taylor Seymour, Charlie Daniels, Bryn Morris, Andy Cannon and Jordy Hiwula will all leave the club upon the expiration of their contracts this summer.
The club has taken up the option of a new deal for 19-year-old Haji Mnoga and 20-year-old striker Alfie Stanley has been offered a new contract.
Talks are still ongoing with the five players who could leave the South Coast on a free transfer from July 1st - Craig MacGillivray, Jack Whatmough, Tom Naylor, Ben Close and Ryan Williams all remain in negotiations with the club.
Loanees Lewis Ward, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Harvey White and George Byers have all returned to their parent clubs.
There will also be ten youth players heading for the exit door this summer. Leon Pitman, Harry Kavanagh, Tom Bruce, Harvey Rew, Harry Anderson, Charlie Bell, Eoin Teggart and Gerard Storey will leave at the end of their respective scholarship contracts, while Harrison Brook and Seok Jae Lee have turned down the opportunity to extend their time at Portsmouth.
