Express FM can announce a new series of Pompey Live kicks off this Saturday (30th July), as part of plans to once again bring you all of the unmissable action from Fratton Park, as well as covering the wider Portsmouth area throughout the 2022/23 season.
Portsmouth get their EFL League One season underway on Saturday when they return to Sheffield Wednesday, the side they met in their final game of last season.
Pompey Live will return for a new season, once again lead by Robbie James, with fan favourite and Football Hour host Jake Smith, and Portsmouth Women's Manager Jay Sadler returning for the majority of the campaign. There will also be features from first team players from both the men's and women's sides, and commentary will once again be provided by BBC Radio Solent's Andy Moon and Guy Whittingham. There'll also be an increase in coverage of Portsmouth Women's games over the course of their season too.
Alongside Pompey Live, The Football Hour also returns every Monday and Friday to bring you a fan's view on all matters at PO4, and Over the White Line will once again take a look at the grassroots and women's game in the local community with Henry Deacon on Wednesday's.
You'll also be able to hear from Matt Drabble throughout the season, reporting from Havant & Waterlooville matches, as they seek promotion from The Vanarama National League South.
Pompey Live with Aqua Cars returns Saturday 30th July, with an extended build up from 1pm. Listen live on DAB, 93.7FM or ask your smart speaker to 'Play Express FM'.
