Kenny Jackett has brought in Swansea City midfielder George Byers to bolster his side's midfield options.
24-year-old Byers, who came through the youth ranks at Watford, will don squad No. 16 during his half-season loan spell at Fratton Park.
The Swansea City loanee has made over 50 Championship appearances for the Swans since signing from Watford in 2016, and fans of the South Wales club are not particularly thrilled with the news.

Manager Kenny Jackett told the Portsmouth FC Media Team: "He's got just over 50 appearances in the Championship and is a talented attacking midfield player.
"We want to be as strong as possible in every area of the pitch, especially as we're not even halfway through the season yet." - The gaffer continued.
Kenny then elaborated on his intent to use the loanee in his squad as the games pile up thick and fast: "With the arrival of George - along with the signing of Harvey White - we have real competition and options in the centre of the pitch."
The Blues still have one more senior place in the squad to make another signing before the February 1st deadline.
