Portsmouth Women boss Jay Sadler looks ahead to his side's Barclays Women's Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers in PO4.
If the Blues better the result of Sheffield United, who take on Southampton at Bramall Lane at 1pm, then they will confirm their survival and place in the second tier for the 2025/26 season.
As things stand, Pompey sit 10th and 1 place above The Blades in 11th, who occupy the only relegation spot with just 7 points on the board. Jay Sadler's team are 3 points clear and Blackburn themselves in 9th aren't safe yet - They have 12 points.
This serves as Portsmouth's last game of the season but the rest of the division play next weekend for the actual final matchday of the campaign - The reason for this stems down to the withdrawal of Reading at the start of the campaign due to off-field matters.
Boss Jay Sadler sat down with Jake Smith on the latest episode of The Football Hour on Express FM to preview the big game at Fratton Park:
If you cannot make it to the match at Fratton Park, be sure to join James Wilson, Kirsty Roxanne and Henry Deacon on Pompey Live from 1pm on Sunday (April 27th) for full coverage, including LIVE commentary too!
Jake will be back with The Football Hour on Monday (April 28th) evening from 6pm to provide reaction to this game, as well as the men's stalemate with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
