Pompey have secured the signature of 19-year-old midfielder Terry Devlin.
The Northern Ireland Under-21s player arrives at Fratton Park on a 3-year deal with an option for a further 12 months, with an undisclosed fee paid to his previous club Glentoran (NI).
Only last summer did Devlin join Glentoran from Dungannon Swifts - He bagged 5 goals in 35 appearances for the NIFL Premiership club across the 2022/23 campaign.
According to Portsmouth News reporter Jordan Cross, the Blues had to fight off rivalling interest from 4 different English sides who were also said to be interested in securing the youngster's services.

The promising midfielder arrives from Glentoran. The Blues headed off rival interest in the 19-year-old with the likes of Sunderland, Stoke, Oxford and Crystal Palace said to be keen.
In an official club statement, John Mousinho was quoted in saying: "Terry was one of the outstanding players in the Northern Irish league last season.
"He's an attacking midfielder who adds qualities to our group that we perhaps don't already have here.
"Terry can run, he can compete and he can score goals and I'm excited to bring such a talented prospect over to England.
"We do feel that he has a very promising future in the game, but we also believe that he can make an impact for us during the forthcoming season."
