Fareham in Bloom is back this summer

Fareham Borough Council is delighted to invite green-fingered residents to enter its virtual Fareham in Bloom competition once again this year.

The competition is now open for entries and will close on Friday 8 July, with one winner per category. There are six categories to choose from, so there is something for everyone no matter how big or small their outdoor space is.

The categories are:

  • Best Garden– A garden of any size, front or back
  • Commercial – Shop fronts, pubs, businesses and schools
  • Something Small - Hanging baskets, window boxes or unusual garden features
  • Community Floral Display - Your street, community centre or sheltered housing grounds
  • Young Green Fingers – Something the children have planted or grown
  • Sustainable Garden – Planting to encourage wildlife, grow your own veg, recycling materials and using minimal resources

Entry is free and open to anyone who lives or has a business in the Borough. Entrants simply need to complete a short online form with a brief description and upload one photograph of their entry by Friday 8 July.

Winners will each receive a prize which will be presented to them, along with a certificate, at a special reception in the Mayor’s Parlour at the Civic Offices in Fareham.
