Food & Drink businesses wanted for Southsea Food Festival

The popular Southsea Food festival will return on the 15th & 16th July 2023. Food businesses and traders are invited to attend this celebration weekend which attracted crowds of over 50,000 people last year.

Southsea Food Festival 2023 is celebrating its 15th anniversary and attracts around 50 food and drink traders, celebrating the thriving and diverse food scene of Portsmouth & Southsea’s independent restaurants, retailers and communities. The 2-day event takes place in the heart of Southsea, forming a vibrant hub of activity around Clarendon Road, Palmerston Road, Osborne Road and Avenue De Caen. A live music stage and family entertainments will also return.

This year, Portsmouth City Council will produce the event in partnership with the event management team behind Victorious. This partnership will help to grow the food festival and deliver greater benefits to Portsmouth businesses and festival attendees.

Cllr Steve Pitt, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Economic Development said,

"I am delighted that planning has started on Southsea Food Festival. This fantastic community event  is a wonderful showcase for Portsmouth's great food and drink businesses. The event is firmly established in Portsmouth's calendar, it helps to support our local economy and is a great family day out."

Applications are now open to local businesses and traders to be part of Southsea Food Festival 23.
