New Theatre Royal Portsmouth has announced a new scheme, offering Christmas panto audiences the opportunity to ‘Pay It Forward' and purchase a ticket for Portsmouth’s frontline workers fighting Coronavirus.
For the first time in over a decade, Christmas at New Theatre Royal sees the return of a traditional pantomime as they launch a new partnership with one of the UK’s leading pantomime producers Jordan Productions. Together they will bring Cinderella to the stage from 16 December – 2 January.
Chris Jordan, Managing Director said: “We are really excited to be bringing pantomime back to the beautiful New Theatre Royal. Cinderella is a spectacular Christmas show full of surprises, fun and laughter – something we could all do with a little more of at this time.
We are sure that audiences will support this new initiative to ‘Pay It Forward’ and thank Portsmouth’s key frontline workers with a trip to the theatre with loved ones.”
All ‘Pay It Forward' tickets cost £10 and will be donated to NHS and Care Home workers in Portsmouth.
Tickets are available to book at the Box Office on 023 9264 9000 and online at newtheatreroyal.com.
