Port Solent is set for a jam-packed Easter full of activities and family fun that also sees the opening of a unique new restaurant.
This weekend sees the opening of Friendly Phil’s, the second of the new brand’s restaurants and the first on the south coast. The diner opens on 14 April, offering delicious burgers, milkshakes and hotdogs. It also offers all day breakfast, discounted cocktails and rotisserie chicken.
The Easter fun continues during the holidays. Kids can take part in the free Easter Egg Hunt on 16 April between 11am – 2pm, where they can meet the Easter Bunny, follow clues to find tasty treats and dress to impress for the Easter Hat competition where they can win great prizes from Sweetie Kingdom. The Kids Club, on 13 April between 11am – 4pm, will see little ones entertained with Silly Scott’s amazing magic shows running throughout the day. Children at the club will also be able to try their hand at crafts at The Creation Station.
There will also be wild encounters with Kidsrome Petting Farm on 20 April between 11am – 4pm, where pet-lovers can get up close to furry animals and ride a tractor. Port Solent is also offering a Guess the Eggs competition in the lead up to Easter.
Lisa Fowler, of Port Solent management, said: “This Easter at Port Solent will be packed with fun and activities for all the family. The Easter Egg Hunt promises to be very popular as children search for delicious treats and meet the Easter Bunny. There will be plenty of fun and laughter with the Easter Hat competition – so wear your finest Easter Bonnet to see if you can win. On top of this we see the return of our popular Silly Scott magic shows, as well as The Creation Station for craft lovers.
“We are also excited to announce the opening of our latest restaurant Friendly Phil’s, offering sumptuous diner-style food to boost energy after all the fun activities.”
