With advanced ticket sales a success, Portsmouth Vegan Festival is set to take place on Sunday 23rd April.
The festival will feature over 80 stalls, from food and drink to skincare, make-up, candles, and clothing. There will be free samples on offer and entry for under-16s is free.
Caterers will include VDogs, who will be selling a range of freshly cooked to order vegan hotdogs. Other caterers include Brownin’s Food, which is a family run business who specialise in Caribbean food. Greek Vegan Deli, LotusV, and Soy Ahoy will also be serving food at the festival.
Organisations exhibiting include Miracle’s Mission, which is a non-profit animal welfare organisation that works with sick and injured animals. Its mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, and to educate on the need for neutering pets and strays.
Event organiser Victoria Bryceson said: “We’re getting so much interest in the Portsmouth Vegan Festival this year, it's set to be a huge success. This extravaganza will provide the ultimate inspiration for vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, those thinking about going vegan or wanting to incorporate more vegan products in their life.”
The Portsmouth Vegan Festival will take place on Sunday from 10:30am to 4:00pm at the Mountbatten Centre in Hilsea. Entry is £4 payable on the door, or £15 for VIP tickets in advance to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples and discounts.
