Despite the wind and rain on the day, hundreds attended the Christmas Charity Fayre in aid of the Rocky Appeal earlier this month, raising £2,054.00 for the Da Vinci Robotic Centre at QA Hospital.
Jeannette Jones, local business owner and networking professional, worked tirelessly to bring the event to fruition, pooling her resources and calling on fellow networkers to volunteer on the day.
A great opportunity for small business to display their wares and create a fabulous display of gifts and products for Christmas.
Also, wellbeing therapists and make-up artists and stylists brought that extra special sparkle for customers to enjoy and relax and indulge in.
Jeannette commented: “I am so grateful to everyone who braved the weather and came along to the event and for all those who helped with setting up, taking down and taking part in this event.
“I personally was very humbled by people’s generosity and commitment to the event, giving not only money but also their time.
“I would love to increase the money raised so if anyone would like to give their support to this cause please contact Jodie Young at Portsmouth Hospitals Charity to make a donation on 02392 286000 Ext: 5927 quoting Da Vinci Robotic Centre. Every penny helps. Thank you.”
