The Oscar & BAFTA winning Sound Editor & Sound Designer Johnnie Burn is our guest for this latest episode, as Jon Brown and Sean Wilson switch things up a bit and speak to a Composer not of music this time, but of sound.
Working regularly with cinematic masterminds such as Jonathan Glazer, Yorgos Lanthimos and Jordan Peele, Johnnie’s work as a Sound Editor and Designer is a glorious collection of carefully crafted and innovational soundscapes.
Works of art in their own audible right, Johnnie's craftsmanship can be heard within many critically celebrated films such as 'Under The Skin', 'The Lobster', 'The Favourite', 'The Killing Of A Sacred Deer', 'Ammonite', 'Nope', 'Poor Things' and 'The Zone Of Interest' - for which he won both a BAFTA and an Oscar for his work.
Prior to his recent Oscar win, Jon & Sean sat down with Johnnie for a chat...
