Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established - and best-loved - black group in UK entertainment history. Universally known for their legendary hits You To Me Are Everything, Can’t Get By Without You and Can You Feel the Force, as well as their ground-breaking 1977 song, Children of the Ghetto, The Real Thing remain pioneers in soul, funk and dance music.
Original members - Chris Amoo and Dave Smith - are now celebrating over 45 incredible years in the music industry, and they’re still going strong, playing hundreds of gigs across the world.

- Entrants must be 18 or over and live within a PO postcode
- Texts are charged at your standard network rate and you must have the bill payers permission before submitting your entry.
- Competition closes on Thursday 3rd April 2025 at exactly 4:59pm.
- Entries after the competition closing time won't count but may still be charged.
- Winners are selected at random and will be contacted via telephone or email.
- If succesful, your name will be drawn live on Express FM after 5:00pm on Thursday 3rd April 2025.
- If we cannot get hold of a winner, another entrant may be selected at random.
